PROGRAMS

The Portland Woman’s Club is affiliated with an international women’s organization, General Federation of Women’s Clubs (GFWC.org). Together, we are dedicated to community improvement by enhancing the lives of others through volunteer service through GFWC programs as well as local community service programs.

Our Community Service Programs and Special Projects are structured to enable our club to harness the resources of our membership to address the emerging needs of our community.

Community Service Programs and Special Projects focus on the major issues of our time supporting women’s health, preserving natural resources, promoting literacy and equality, and encouraging volunteer service and fall into the following areas of focus - Arts, Conservation, Education, Home Life, International Outreach, Public Issues, and Prevention of Domestic Violence.
